If you are unable to unlock ExpressKeys because you cannot remember your vault password, follow these steps to reset your vault password. Resetting your vault password requires your recovery code.

ExpressKeys Chrome extension:

  1. Install and set up the ExpressKeys Chrome extension.
  2. Click the ExpressKeys Chrome extension.
  3. On the unlock screen, click Forgot Vault Password?
  4. Click Use Recovery Code.
  5. Follow the instructions.

ExpressKeys for Android or iOS:

  1. Open the ExpressKeys app.
  2. Tap Forgot vault password? > Use Recovery Code.
  3. Follow the instructions.

If you have lost your vault password and your recovery code: Contact our Support Team to reset your password manager account.

Important: ExpressVPN uses zero-knowledge encryption and therefore cannot see or restore your encrypted data. You will lose your stored logins.
