When you buy an ExpressVPN subscription from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), you are not required to set a password (and an email address). Without them, you can still create an account for ExpressKeys and use it on the device on which you bought your subscription. However, you cannot set up or use ExpressKeys on all your other desktop or mobile devices.
To set up ExpressKeys on your other devices, you will need to set a password (and an email address) for your ExpressVPN account.
