​​You can import your logins, credit or debit cards, and secure notes from Bitwarden into ExpressKeys using your computer or iOS device.

Once your passwords are imported, you can use ExpressKeys to review your password health, identify weak or reused passwords, and update them to improve your security.

Import your Bitwarden data using your computer

1. Export your Bitwarden data

  1. Log into your Bitwarden account.
  2. In the left sidebar, click Tools.Tools tab on Bitwarden app.
  3. From the dropdown, click Export.Export tab on Bitwarden app.
  4. For File Format, choose .csv.Export passwords as .csv on Bitwarden app.
  5. Enter your master password and click Continue.Export passwords from Bitwarden app.
  6. A CSV file will be saved to your device automatically.

2. Import your Bitwarden data into ExpressKeys

  1. In Chrome, Opera, Edge, Vivaldi, or Brave, install the ExpressKeys browser extension for Chrome.
  2. In the toolbar, open Extensions (jigsaw icon) and click ExpressKeys.ExpressKeys browser extension.
  3. Click the Options tab > Settings.ExpressKeys Settings.
  4. Click Import from existing services.Import data to ExpressKeys.
  5. Select Bitwarden.Import from Bitwarden to ExpressKeys.
  6. Click Choose File.Import from Bitwarden to ExpressKeys.
  7. Select the CSV file you exported earlier and click Open.Import from Bitwarden to ExpressKeys.
  8. Your data will import automatically. You should see a green tick next to your file.Import from Bitwarden to ExpressKeys.

3. Remove the Bitwarden browser extension

Bitwarden will continue to prompt you to fill your logins for sites or services, interfering with ExpressKeys. To prevent this, remove the Bitwarden browser extension.

  1. Open the extensions menu by typing the below text into your search bar:
    • Chrome: Enter chrome://extensions/ in the search bar.
    • Edge: Enter edge://extensions/ in the search bar.
    • Brave: Enter brave://extensions/ in the search bar.
    • Opera: Enter opera://extensions in the search bar.
    • Vivaldi: Enter vivaldi://extensions/ in the search bar.Chrome Extensions search bar.
  2. Find Bitwarden.Bitwarden Chrome Extension.
  3. Click Remove > Remove.Bitwarden Chrome Extension.

Import your Bitwarden data using your iOS device (iOS 26+)

With iOS 26, Apple introduced support for the FIDO Credential Exchange Protocol (CXP), a new standard that enables secure, end-to-end encrypted transfer of credentials directly between compatible apps without the need to export or import files like CSVs.
  1. Open the Bitwarden app.
  2. Tap Settings.Settings on Bitwarden iOS app.
  3. Tap Vault.Vault on Bitwarden iOS app.
  4. Tap Export vault.Vault on Bitwarden iOS app.
  5. Tap Export vault to another app.Vault on Bitwarden iOS app.
  6. Select the items you want to export, then tap Export items.Export data from Bitwarden iOS app.
  7. Tap Continue.
  8. Select ExpressKeys from the list, then tap Continue.Export data from Bitwarden iOS app.
  9. Tap Continue in “ExpressKeys”.
  10. Wait for the app to import your passwords, then tap Continue.Export data to ExpressKeys from Bitwarden iOS app.
