Import your 1Password data using your computer

1. Export your 1Password data

To export your data, you will log into the 1Password app, rather than using the extension.

  1. Open 1Password and log in.
  2. Click the three dots (⋮) next to your profile name.Settings in 1Password app.
  3. Select Export, then your username.Export passwords from 1Password app.
  4. Enter your password.
  5. For file format, choose CSV (Export only certain fields).Export passwords from 1Password app.
  6. Click Export Data.Export passwords from 1Password app.
  7. Choose where to save the file on your device.

2. Import your 1Password data into ExpressKeys

  1. In Chrome, Opera, Edge, Vivaldi, or Brave, install the ExpressKeys browser extension for Chrome.
  2. In the toolbar, open Extensions (jigsaw icon) and click ExpressKeys.
  3. Click the Options tab > Settings.Settings in ExpressKeys browser extension.
  4. Click Import from existing services.Import data from existing services in ExpressKeys browser extension.
  5. Select 1Password.Import passwords from 1Password to ExpressKeys.
  6. Click Choose File.Import passwords from 1Password to ExpressKeys.
  7. Select the CSV file you exported from 1Password and click Open.Import passwords from 1Password to ExpressKeys.
  8. Your data will import automatically. You should see a green tick next to your file.Import passwords from 1Password to ExpressKeys.

3. Remove the 1Password browser extension

1Password will continue to prompt you to fill your logins for sites or services, interfering with ExpressKeys. To prevent this, remove the 1Password browser extension.

  1. Open the extensions menu by typing the below text into your search bar:
    • Chrome: Enter chrome://extensions/ in the search bar.
    • Edge: Enter edge://extensions/ in the search bar.
    • Brave: Enter brave://extensions/ in the search bar.
    • Opera: Enter opera://extensions in the search bar.
    • Vivaldi: Enter vivaldi://extensions/ in the search bar.Chrome extensions bar.
  2. Find 1Password.1Password Chrome extension.
  3. Click Remove > Remove.1Password Chrome extension.

Import your 1Password data using your iOS device (iOS 26+)

With iOS 26, Apple introduced support for the FIDO Credential Exchange Protocol (CXP), a new standard that enables secure, end-to-end encrypted transfer of credentials directly between compatible apps without the need to export or import files like CSVs.
  1. Open the 1Password app and tap on your profile icon.Profile in 1Password iOS app.
  2. Tap Settings…Settings in 1Password iOS app.
  3. Scroll down and tap Advanced.Advanced settings in 1Password iOS app.
  4. Tap Start Export.Export data in 1Password iOS app.
  5. Enter your account name, then tap Approve export.Export data in 1Password iOS app.
  6. Tap Continue.
  7. Select ExpressKeys from the list, then tap Continue.Export 1Password data to ExpressKeys iOS app.
  8. Tap Continue in “ExpressKeys.”
  9. Wait for the app to import your passwords, then tap Continue.Export 1Password data to ExpressKeys iOS app.
