This guide will show you how ExpressAI’s credit system works, how to know how many credits you have left, and what happens if you reach your daily credit limit.
ExpressAI works on a credit system. Credits are used each time ExpressAI processes a request. This includes sending a message to any single model, running the same message across multiple models, or uploading an image or file for analysis.
For example:
- 1 message using 1 model = 1 credit
- 1 message using 3 models = 3 credits
- 1 image or file upload = 1 credit
How to check your remaining daily credits
You can check how many credits you have left for the day:
- On desktop: Look in the top-right corner of the screen, right below your email address.
- On mobile: Tap
in the top-right corner to view your remaining balance.
Daily credit limits by plan
All ExpressVPN Pro plans include an allowance of 500 credits per day.
If you reach your daily credit limit, you will be unable to send new prompts until your allowance resets the following day. However, you are still able to view your chat history locally.
At present, additional daily credits cannot be purchased. 500 credits per day is the current maximum allowance.
